The search team will be in charge of optimizing the database of the general and events sections according to the user queries. The search team leader will oversee, direct and organize his team towards achieving the targets as set by the site editor.

Responsibilities of Team Leader:

He/she will coordinate with the programmers and the user interface team for the implementation of new features for search on the website.
He/she will prepare reports on a biweekly basis to keep the site editor updated at all times.
He/she will prepare plans for geo targeting of search keywords and the footer general plan (suggested keywords for search result pages) to ignite the growth of the site.
He/she will study reports from his team members and analyze the search keywords and draw inferences from it that will help his/her team to optimize the search.
He/she will be in charge of the search database optimization process and will recommend upgrading of the search functionality based upon new technologies.

Job Profile:
The candidate should have good leadership skills. He/she should be fluent in English and be aware of the colloquial lingo, style and language preference as spoken in North America.
He/she should be able to grasp “the logic of the search system” and be able to adapt to it as and when changes are required.
He/she should have a basic understanding of programming logic and should understand its implementation, features, application etc
He/she should have a logical bent of mind and should be able to come up with innovative solutions to his team’s problems.
